Personal Data I Process

Depending on your communication and order, I may process:

  • First name and surname.
  • Business name and billing details of business customers.
  • Address.
  • Email address.
  • Telephone number.
  • Order and payment details.
  • Order number and payment reference.
  • IP address and technical security logs.
  • Content of correspondence.
  • Records of marketing consent being given or withdrawn.

Purposes and Legal Bases

I process personal data for the following purposes:

  1. Receiving, processing, taking payment for and delivering orders – processing is necessary to enter into and perform a contract.
  2. Handling complaints, withdrawals and customer support – performance of contractual and legal obligations.
  3. Keeping accounting, tax and legal records – compliance with a legal obligation.
  4. Protecting legal claims, preventing misuse of download links and ensuring system security – the controller's legitimate interests.
  5. Responding to questions and enquiries – taking steps at the data subject's request or pursuing a legitimate interest in responding to correspondence.
  6. Sending news and offers – only on the basis of separate, freely given consent or another lawful basis.

Marketing

Consent to receive marketing communications is not a condition of purchase. The marketing consent checkbox must not be pre-ticked.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before consent was withdrawn.

To the extent necessary, personal data may be processed by:

  • Redbit s.r.o., the operator of the SimpleShop system.
  • Webnode AG, the website platform provider.
  • Fio banka, a.s., pobočka zahraničnej banky.
  • The provider of email and hosting services.
  • An accountant or tax adviser, if engaged.
  • Public authorities, where required by law.

I do not sell personal data to third parties.

Retention Periods

  • Order, accounting and tax records: for the period required by law, generally 10 years.
  • Complaints and legal claims: while being handled and subsequently for the applicable limitation periods.
  • General enquiries: generally no longer than 12 months after the enquiry has been resolved.
  • Marketing data: until consent is withdrawn, and no longer than a reasonable period following the last active communication.
  • Technical and security logs: only for as long as necessary to ensure security and resolve incidents.
